Short training programs for employees of partner institutions were aimed at acquainting them with the specificity of the institution and presenting the developed solutions in the context of the implemented activities.

As part of the training stays, the participating coaches/trainers of the partners took part in joint workshops during which the educational content and methods developed within the project were jointly practiced. Workshop participants acquired knowledge and competences in the field of types and specificity of health counseling, programs and specificity of education in medical and peri-medical professions, knowledge and specificity of the disciplinary, methodological, and didactic framework for educating staff, and the possibilities of integrating practical classes into educational programs.

Joint workshops were an essential element that allowed participants to understand the differences and specificity of each country, the perspectives represented by individual institutions, and the possibilities of utilizing the solutions developed by them.

Warsaw, 11-14 December 2023

The first Learning, Teaching, Training activity within the project took place in Warsaw. The training was conducted in a workshop format.

The training program covered the following topics:

  • Introduction to the issue of FHA (Family and Household Assistance).

  • Training of individuals supporting families (to varying degrees) in Poland.

  • Visit to the KARAN Association – an institution offering various forms of family support and working with youth affected by addiction.

  • Resource-based family support – workshops.

  • Presentation of the EZRA model.

  • Accessibility issues in working with families.

  • People with disabilities, people with chronic illnesses, elderly people in families.

  • Visit to the Collegium Medicum at UKSW (University of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński).

  • Training in advisory competencies with elements of motivational interviewing – workshops.

Győr, 3-6 June 2024

The second Learning, Teaching, Training activity within the project took place in Győr. The training was conducted in a workshop format.

The training program covered the following topics:

  • Family and Child Welfare Centre Mosonmagyaróvár and its region: introduction to the institution providing personal care, basic child welfare and basic social services.

  • Visit to the Children's Transition Home, meeting and talking to a child in care

  • Példa Association for Children in Szigetköz: introduction of the Association

  • Social health map of Győr (women, children, roma, disabled, people living in

  • deep poverty, Ukrainian refugees)

  • Health-Related Apps: Hungarian version of Lifestyle Application, Usability Questionnaire.

Kirchseeon, 21-24 June 2024

The third Learning, Teaching, Training activity within the project took place in Kirchseeon. The training was conducted in a workshop format.

The training program covered the following topics:

  • Meeting with Vice-Chancellor Research Organisation, FOM University of Applied Sciences

  • Visit to Schwaneck Castle Education Centre, Pullach, meeting with Managing Director of Kreisjugendring München-Land (KJR) - Input on the work of the education centre and guided tour of the building and the nature experience centre

  • Nutritional behaviour, Dietary risks and diet-related diseases

  • Intervention approaches for changing/maintaining healthy eating behaviour

  • Dealing with ADHD and dementia in the family system

  • Medical background to ADHD and dementia

  • Support and training for affected families

  • Approaches to prevention

  • Visit to the Condrops health clearing centre and the migration advice centre for adults and families - Input on the work of the centres and health-related aspects

  • Systemic counselling

  • Health promotion during the family life cycle: practical input from school psychology

The fourth Learning, Teaching, and Training)of the project, organized online by IFN.

The training was conducted in a workshop format.

The program of the training covered the following topics:

  • The epidemiological situation in the partner countries.

  • Health-risk behaviors in the partner countries and ways to prevent them.

  • Availability of doctors and nursing staff in comparison to other EU countries based on statistical data and scientific research.

  • Selected examples of family support offered by NGOs.

  • Deinstitutionalization of family support as a tool to improve systemic actions in the areas of health protection and family support.
